Today

This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Psalms 118:24

Many times the cares of this world, worries, problems, troubles, the rush of modern living can make us forget that each day is a gift from God. Not only is it a day made by the LORD. It is a day to rejoice. Rejoice? That may sound distant and unattainable, especially when things are not going our way. However, the Bible reminds us to rejoice in the Lord always. Yes, we find our joy in the Lord. When we make God our refuge, when we focus on His goodness, His might and all that He gives to us each day we have reason to rejoice. Most of all, He loved us so much that He gave us His one and only begotten son Jesus, to die for us on the cross at Calvary. When we make a decision to follow Jesus, to repent of our sins and to make Him Lord and Savior; He then redeems us and purifies us.

Today we can choose to make the decision to do the right thing, to pray, to love God, to praise God, to rejoice in the LORD.
