John 16:33 – “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
John 14:27 – “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”
These are the words Jesus spoke to His disciples. He reminded them that even in the midst of trouble He is the giver of peace. He had given them His Word, so that they may have peace. God has given us His word, He has given us the Bible. His word is true; His word is living and is relevant for us today. God promises to give us His peace even in the midst of trouble. He is a good God and loves us so much! Jesus is the Prince of Peace!
Today, I encourage you to spend time reading your Bible and meditating on His promises. Take time to pray and cast everything that troubles your mind and heart to Jesus.
